Collectability Scoring

KMS Data’s Collectability Score delivers actionable intelligence to help you make critical business decisions with confidence and speed. This is a unique tool designed to help predict people’s “ability to pay bills as agreed”. KMS Data’s Collectability Score uses advanced data mining and modeling techniques to identify the most collectable accounts. Our score predicts “ability to pay” quickly and accurately using:

Public record data
Consumer demographics
Lifestyle information
Skip trace information

KMS Data Collectability Score is a model that assists collectors in identifying the highest quality prospects for collection purposes. KMS Data created the Collectability Score by looking at the demographic profiles of good and poor credit risk consumers. This model’s performance is driven by household level demographic and lifestyle information and does not incorporate any individual credit data.

As a result these collectability scores cannot be used for determining a consumer’s eligibility for any credit or insurance, or for making firm offers of credit. It can, however, be used to identify those consumers with the highest propensity to pay. There are 12 Collectability Scores ranging from high to low collectability potential - defined as “the ability to pay bills as agreed”.
